St Lawrence University Cooperative Credit Union Ltd. (Coop-BOD) is a microfinance institution for the development and protection of the financial assets of members through savings, micro-loans, and project management.

SLUCCUL is a not-for-profit full-service microfinance institution managed by a volunteer board of directors. SLUCCUL’s mission is to meet the credit and savings needs of members in an expedient manner. As a credit union, SLUCCUL promotes thrift among its members by affording them an opportunity to accumulate their savings and to create a source of credit for provident, education, business or productive purposes.

ACCOUNTS

DEPOSIT ACCOUNT

Deposits accounts facilitate members' day to day transactions. Members can make withdrawals at any time without prior notice except in cases of large amounts.

No withdrawal charges on transactions.
Account does not accrue interest

SAVINGS ACCOUNTS

Savings accounts are for member's projects or investments. Savings accrue interest which is paid at the end of the year.

Withdrawals from a savings account requires a prior notice of at least 72 hours.

Savings is a primary security for loans.

STUDENT ACCOUNTS

Accounts for students who want to develop a culture of thrift and savings. Parental consent may be required. The parent may open an account in the name of the student.

Withdrawals from student accounts do not require prior notices. No charges on transactions.

DAILY SAVINGS

Grow your wealth by setting goals and making daily savings. Every coin counts.

Home away from home. You can save or invest for projects at home.
